Hyatt Director, Loyalty Marketing, China in SHANGHAI, China


The Director of Loyalty Marketing, China, is responsible for the development and execution of World of Hyatt loyalty strategy for China to achieve the program goals – drive loyalty member acquisition and engagement, and increase Hyatt’s share of wallet in China.

  • Leverage consumer insights, data and analytics, and industry best practices to develop a holistic and integrated World of Hyatt loyalty strategy for China
  • Be accountable for executing the abovementioned strategic plan, collaborate with China leadership, Brands and Marketing, Operations and hotel teams to ensure alignment with the overall strategy
  • Be accountable for the loyalty performance KPIs for China
  • Supervise and guide Manager, Loyalty Operations, China, to develop local tactics and plans to support acquisition goal for China
  • Manage relationship with Chinese partners, evaluate partnership opportunities and build effective partnerships to increase World of Hyatt awareness, support acquisition and deliver meaningful benefits or experiences to World of Hyatt memebers
  • Lead Manager, Loyalty Operations, China, and engage Coprorate and Regional loyalty leaders to ensure alignment of efforts and synchronization of initiatives


  • Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience in Marketing or Loyalty
  • Experience in leading and managing loyalty programs or large-scale marketing initiatives preferred
  • Experience working in a multi-national corporation and in a matrixed environment
  • Hospitality industry experience an advantage but not essential
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Business development experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels in the organization and across a diverse cross-functional enrivonment
  • Strong time management and organization skills with an ability to multi-task
  • A can-do attitude, solid customer service orientation and strong leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
  • MBA a plus
