Hyatt Facility Maintenance HVAC Mechanic in SEATTLE, Washington
The Grand Hyatt Seattle and Hyatt Olive 8 are recruiting for a Facility Maintenance HVAC Mechanic to join our Seattle Hyatt Family.
Our Facility Maintenance HVAC Mechanic will primarily be responsible for a high degree of maintenance services and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space and other front of the house areas as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
The Facility Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance. A minimum of five years building maintenance and HVAC experience is preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is preferred for this position. Good communications skills are necessary.

A minimum of five years of HVAC/R repair and maintenance is preferred with building and/or hotel maintenance experience preferred
Good customer service and communication skills are necessary
Ability to read blue prints and schematics is preferred along with excellent trouble-shooting skills
Boiler's Operator License preferred
HVAC/R Certification preferred
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overnight, and holidays.
