The Guest Services Lead is responsible for the daily quality and accuracy of work produced in the Guest Services Department. This role will have supervisory duties in the Guest Services Department including, but not limited to; scheduling, training and directing staff. In addition to the supervisory duties, this role will be stepping in to assist in all Guest Services areas (Valet, Bell Desk and Driver).
Valet Attendants will welcome and create the first impression upon guest arrival. This may include assisting the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Their primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently relocate guest automobiles to designated parking locations. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel guest services and knowledge of daily events.
Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office and Valet to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently. It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations.
Drivers will safely and efficiently transport guests to local destinations by operating a hotel car, van or shuttle. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotels communication base and compliance with local driving regulations. Drivers are frequently asked general information about the hotel, give recommendations on the surrounding area, and are required to assist the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Ensuring that the vehicle is clean, fueled, and any necessary service communicated to appropriate person is required.
