Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara- will mark the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont ’Kiara, an affluent suburb located five kilometres from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a sky pool. Scheduled to open in 2018, the hotel will be part of a larger mixed use development, Arcoris Mont ‘Kiara, which will feature business suites, small home offices (“SoHo”), residential units, and a retail plaza.

We are currently looking for an experienced /Lead Host – Finance and Administration /in managing the Accounting Department staff and activities ensuring that all routines and reports are completed accurately and on a timely basis.

This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager – Finance and Administration.

An individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a prominent member within the industry, you will be confident and driven in your approach. You are business savvy and are known for your ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels, are detail orientated and must be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands on and ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.

Qualifications:
_Key Qualifications and requirements:_

Assist in hiring, training and evaluating the performance of the accounting associates who reporting directly to him/her.

Preparing and reviewing regularly on the Development Program for those accounting associates members reporting directly to the Hotel Manager

Attend to the daily administration of finance office, identify and resolve problems in conjunction with respective accounting associates.

Supervise and coordinate the month end closing of accounts to ensure in achieving the proper time line.

Co-ordinate the preparation of accurate hotel monthly profit & loss account and balance sheet in compliance with Hyatt policy & procedure and in line with Hyatt reporting timetable and submit to Hotel Manager – Finance and Administration for review.

Co-ordinate and prepare balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation and submit to Hotel Manager – Finance and Administration to review by 10th of each month.

To review the final input to the general ledger from the various sources, to identify and reconcile the items affecting the balance sheet and report on the financial results as required.
