Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara- will mark the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont’Kiara, an affluent suburb located five kilometers from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel will feature approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a sky pool. Scheduled to open in 2018, the hotel will be part of a larger mixed use development, Arcoris Mont’Kiara, which will feature business suites, small home offices (“SoHo”), residential units, and a retail plaza.

We are currently looking for an experienced Host – Finance and Administration to join us in this exciting journey with the first Hyatt House in South East Asia.

This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager – Finance and Administration.

An individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a prominent member within the industry, you will be confident and driven in your approach. You are business savvy and are known for your ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels, are detail orientated and must be able to problem-solve with employees and guests. Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be constantly hands on and ready to lend expertise within other departments of the hotel.

Key Qualifications and requirements:

Process supplier invoices, cheque requests and expense claims into the accounts payable system on a timely basis. Supporting documentation confirming the delivery of goods (if applicable) and services from suppliers has been adequately completed. Maintain confidentiality in relation to all payroll matters. Interact with Human Resource Department for the collection and verification of basic payroll input from original sources per hotel policy and procedures. Accurately input payroll data including hours worked, allowance for each employee in line with local government regulations. Review all outputs from the payroll system, initiate corrections or adjustments accordingly. Submit final payroll reports to Human Resources Manager, Hotel Manager & General Manager for approval Provides a summary of the aging report to the Hotel Manager – Finance and Administration, Hotel Manager – Guest Services and General Manager to prepare monthly reports. Processes all charges and credits to City Ledger, in a timely manner. Ensures that all transfers to City Ledger through Night and Income Auditors do agree with the control account.

Preparethe daily revenue report and circulate to department heads.

Control of dockets used in all Outlets, maintaining correct sequence at all times, Account for all dockets and making sure cancelled dockets recorded accordingly.

Review banquet event postings and ensure revenues processed balance to individual Banquet Event Orders (“BEO”) and that all BEO’s have been posted by reference to the Banquet Daily Event List.

Be present at hotel loading dock during the hours to accept deliveries from suppliers.

Ensure quantity of goods received matches hotel purchase order. All beverage and general notices/invoices must have a purchase order number on the document. Ensure all incoming merchandise is undamaged, in quantities as indicated in the accompanying invoice/delivery docket and meets the standards for quality.
